Cherwell College Oxford

Cherwell College Oxford

We are based in the heart of Oxford close to some of the city’s most famous colleges and buildings. Our ethos is simple: we offer students the chance to enjoy bespoke teaching through a mix of small group classes (5-7 students) and one-to-one tutorials so that students can study at their own pace and focus on areas that need most attention.

Our tutors are passionate about their subjects and help their students achieve both excellence in academic performance and experience through visits to public lectures at Oxford University.

Our academic department ensure that each student achieves their academic targets by selecting the right tutor with the experience and background to match the student’s academic ability – please see information on our web-site

We are unashamedly ambitious for every student and are proud of our strong academic record with our students entering top Russell Group Universities and international universities.

Our A Level latest results are very strong,  94% were accepted into their first choice university – this is down to both the hard work of our students as well as the excellent and personal support from our careers team.

Our boarding house, which is located a few minutes’ walk from the train station, is modern, purpose built and designed for student living and comfort. It comprises single en-suite study rooms, a lounge area with TV and games, laundry facilities, garden and large canteen offering home-cooked food and 3 meals per day. It is a great place to for students to relax as well as study.
