Tim Boswell was recently announced at the new permanent Editor for BBC Radio Oxford.
Tim had been managing the station on a temporary basis, but his move from his previous role at BBC Coventry & Warwickshire was confirmed this March.
Tim is celebrating 25 years in the radio industry – a career that has seen him working at BBC and commercial stations in programmes, management and news.
Tim said: “BBC Radio Oxford is a fantastic station – a hotbed of talent and personality from David Prever at Breakfast to Lilley Mitchell in the afternoon. We have lots of exciting plans for the next few months: ‘Radio Oxford Rocks Up’ will see our programmes broadcasting from four different communities across the county, and we are also looking at ways to work more closely with Oxfordshire’s thriving community groups.”
