Business in Oxford is a great event but it can be a long day for all involved, so we wanted to end the day with something fun for everyone to enjoy. Lip Sync was suggested as a great way to help everyone let their hair down and unwind, with the added bonus being that we can raise some funds for our Official Charity, Sobell House. So if you’re something of an extrovert – by our reckoning, there’s a fair few in the B4 community! – then sign up for one of the 12 places on offer below. But hurry….this will be popular!
• Friday 27th April: Final line up selected with four reserves
• Tuesday 8th May: Media afternoon at B4 offices in Weston-on-the-Green for video and photography
• Friday 11th May: Final line up announced on social media and BIO2018 website and sponsorship opens
• All performers will need to have a ticket to Business in Oxford to gain entry to the venue. If you are not already attending as a partner or delegate, we will provide all performers with a free ticket code to use at www.businessinoxford.com
" We are delighted to be supported by B4 throughout 2018. To enable us to provide the incredible care at Sobell House so many people and organisations fundraise in lots of different ways. The Lip Sync Battle is a new unique way to support Sobell House, please get involved!! "

The premise is simple – participants mime the vocals of popular music while performing onstage in front of an appreciative audience. The fun comes from seeing just how wild people are willing to be to impress the crowd or win over their opponent!
The great thing about Lip Sync for Sobell is that you don’t actually need any real talent, just a desire to perform!
Everything is in the spirit of having fun so yes there is a little guaranteed comic banter. After each act performs the audience has the power and applaud their favourite performances.
Creation Theatre one of Oxfordshire's largest theatre companies will be supporting Lip synch for Sobell with some professional, and some most definitely not professional lip synching performances. Creation specialise in quirky, eccentric, creative productions and are looking forward to seeing these values reflected in the performances in May.
Lucy Askew is Creation Theatre's Chief Executive and Creative Producer. Working for Creation for the past 10 years Lucy has produced productions in some of Oxford's most notable buildings including Blackwell's Bookshop, The North Wall Arts Centre, The Mathematics Institute, Oxford University Parks and numerous colleges. She has three children, enjoys running, undertaking crazy and ambitious projects with Creation and miming the words to cheesy pop songs.
